It can be a dirty business supporting your favourite charity… as the team at Sheffield law firm Nabarro has discovered.

The company has chosen St Luke’s Hospice as its charity of the year and has a whole host of fundraising events lined up, including a Great Pie and Peas Up, a Race Night and donations of stock to St Luke’s shops.

And then for the real diehards there was the ultimate challenge - the Major Series - a 10k obstacle challenge in Leeds that features hills, mud, water, and even more mud.

“It was a fantastic day – absolutely brilliant,” said team member Helen Delaney Gill. “Although I’ve never seen so much mud in my life and at times I’m sure we all questioned why we were doing it!”

Next up for the company is the Sheffield Half Marathon next Sunday, April 6, when the Nabarro team will be among 180 runners pounding the streets specifically in support of Sheffield’s only hospice.
