Another fashion store will move next week on to the new-look Moor in Sheffield city centre.
Blue Inc will take the unit occupied formerly by Vision Express, opposite the site next to Debenhams that has been cleared for redevelopment. It will employ ten staff.
The fashion retailer offers “trend aware urban style at affordable prices” and its chief executive officer Steven Cohen said: “We hope the new store creates a real buzz.”
Ranald Phillips, director of planning consultants Ashcroft, who are working with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, said: “This is confirmation that The Moor is starting to attract new fashion retailers to Sheffield.
“Blue Inc will start trading next week, which is great news and demonstrates confidence in the retail opportunities on The Moor.”
It adds another name to the list of occupiers for the precinct, which is undergoing a major revamp.
The new markets due to open in November, TJ Hughes is preparing to move into new premises in the block next to the markets and Primark has signed up for the big retail and leisure complex due to be built next to Debenhams store.
Three other shops, six restaurants and a ten-screen cinema are planned for the complex.
“Active” talks are being held with potential cinema operators.
Coun Leigh Bramall, cabinet member for business, skills and development, said the area was “broadening the range of its retail offer and becoming increasingly attractive to shoppers, in line with our overall plan for the development of the city centre”.
