Jewellery by award-winning Sheffield designer Jessica Flinn is to be sold in House of Fraser stores across the UK.
The move into one of the country’s most popular department stores is seen as a major coup for the 25 year-old, who set up in business just four years ago.
Working with concessions specialist Hallett Retail, an exclusive range of Jessica’s sterling silver designs - a dramatic and unique style inspired by fabrics, fashions, trends, cultures and memories - will be available at 15 House of Fraser stores including Meadowhall’s, plus Brown’s of York and Clerys in Dublin.
“It’s amazing to showcase my work with a company as big as House of Fraser,” said Jessica. “We are starting with 15 stores but the plan is to extend that in 2015.”
This is Jessica’s second deal with a major UK chain; in 2012 an exclusive range of her jewellery was created for Argos and the arrangement is ongoing.
Jessica, based at Lion Works in Kelham Island, Sheffield’s old industrial quarter, studied Metalwork and Jewellery at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating in 2010 with the vision of creating her own business to offer women high quality, design-led jewellery that was both unique and affordable.
In addition to being named one of the country’s top young entrepreneurs in the Duke of York’s Awards for 2013, Jessica was one of Professional Jeweller Magazine’s Hot 100 for 2012 and also reached the finals of the BJA Jewellery Designer of the Year awards.
Her designs are also sold at independent stockists across the country and at her own boutique in Sheffield’s fashionable independent shopping quarter at 268 Sharrow Vale Road.
Jessica’s designs are also available through a range of independent stockists across the country – all listed on the website at www.jessicaflinn.co.uk
