COULD you give this little lady a home?
Tilly is an adorable, fun-loving, two-year-old terrier cross. She came to the RSPCA Sheffield Animal Centre with poorly eyes and covered in fleas but she has made a healthy recovery.
A bouncing bundle of joy, she is probably most suitable to live with older children and she is sociable with other dogs.
Staff at the centre say there is something very appealing about Tilly.
She is a gentle dog with a lot of friendship and life to give.
She will flourish in a new home with loving owners.
The Star has launched a campaign to find loving homes for the RSPCA’s 67 abandoned dogs and already six have been placed with new adoptive families.
In the run up to Christmas we will feature a different abandoned dog each week.
If you have always wanted to own a dog, why not pop down and have a look at the loveable pets available?
The process is really easy.
Once checks and an inspector’s visit have been carried out, the adoption process is completed and the dog is taken to its new home.
Stella White, general manager at the Sheffield RSPCA Centre, said: “The response to the Star’s campaign has been wonderful. But for every dog which finds a new home, there is another one brought in.”
The centre, in Stadium Way, Attercliffe, is open to visitors every day between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. Contact the centre on 0114 289 8050.
