Police are hunting a group of men over a brawl at a railway station in a Sheffield suburb.

Violence flared after a train pulled at Woodhouse Station, with the driver claiming the fight spilled onto the tracks.

British Transport Police has released images of men they believe could hold vital information about the incident.

PC Mark Mason said: “An argument started on a train between a group of men. As the train arrived at Woodhouse the guard told the men to leave the train.

“When they got off a fight then ensued on the platform between the group.

“The driver of the train reported that the fight also spilled onto the tracks. At least one man was injured in the fight.

“We believe the men in the images could hold vital information about the incident and urge them or anyone who recognises them to come forward.”
