Owners of an Indian restaurant in Sheffield are aiming to reopen in four to six weeks after an arson attack.
Three members of staff who were sleeping above the Jinnah, off The Common, Ecclesfield, managed to escape unharmed as a conservatory was blitzed.
One of the owners, Tanveer Khan, said: “We thought about only closing the conservatory and continuing to serve meals in the restaurant, but the damage is too great.”
Police said the fire was arson and they are keeping an open mind about the circumstances. The blaze broke out in the early hours of Friday last week.
