A 13-year-old boy from Sheffield has been found safe and well after being missing for almost a week.

Mahmood Dawood was last seen in Darnall last Wednesday - but returned to his home of his own accord at around 11pm last night.

Police said he was safe and well.

But the search is ongoing for Adela Copakova, aged 14, who was last seen on Sunday evening at around 8pm outside a house on Twentywell Lane, Bradway.

Police and her family are concerned to trace her.

Adela is Slovakian, and was last seen wearing large gold hooped earrings, brown leopard-print trousers, and a white vest with a white lace blouse over the top.

She is slim, 5ft 4ins tall, with long, dark brown hair.

Adela has a number of friends in Sheffield, including some in the Page Hall area.

Since she was reported missing to the police shortly after 10pm on Sunday, numerous inquiries have been made in an attempt to trace her.

Superintendent Colin McFarlane said: “The inquiries we have made to date have failed to explain why Adela would have just suddenly disappeared and we are concerned to find her as soon as possible.

“Having spoken to those with who she has been in recent contact with, it appears she was happy and gave no indication anything was troubling her.

“I would urge people to look out for her and to let us know as soon as possible if they see her, or think they may know where she maybe.”

Anyone who knows where Adela is, or where she may be, is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting Missing Person Reference KX/2472/2013.
