Taxi drivers in Sheffield are supporting a new police campaign asking them to help in the fight against child sexual exploitation.

Drivers attended the launch of the new ‘Say Something If You See Something’ campaign on Tuesday, where the public were urged to report suspicious behaviour.

Hafeas Rehman, chairman of the Sheffield Taxi Trade Association, said: “We haven’t had any problems out of the ordinary in the past here.

“But you can tell when a group of people looks like a family or not.

“If we have any doubts then we would report this to the police.”
