Six men have been charged over a fight in Chesterfield.
The men were arrested after officers were alerted to the brawl by CCTV operators who had spotted a disturbance outside the Association Bar on Corporation Street on Friday, May 10, at about 1.40am.
All six men, aged between 17 and 28, have been charged with public order offences.
Community safety Inspector Russ Dakin said: “We are committed to making sure Chesterfield is a safe place for people to enjoy a night out and we will always take a zero tolerance approach to violence or disorder.
“Officers have the power to impose strict conditions on anyone arrested or charged with disorder offences, which includes banning people from licensed premises in the town.
“It’s important people remember that if they want to come and enjoy the nightlife then they need to do so responsibly, and that they think about the consequences of their behaviour.”
The men have been bailed to appear at court next month.
