FLASHING warning signs that tells motorists when they are speeding have been vandalised three times in three weeks.
A speed indicator device in Harborough Lane, Manor, which was installed in response to community concern after an accident in which Mitchell Mason, aged nine, was knocked down by a car, was targeted twice.
In one attack, a vacuum cleaner was thrown at the sign.
Warning signs in Hastilar Road have also been vandalised.
Mitchell’s mum Leasa Ward, aged 36, said: “It’s really upset me, I’m devastated. I feel like they are directly targeting Mitchell.”
