Details of heritage strategy to be revealed at Sheffield Shaping Histories event
The Joined Up Heritage group will host the Shaping Histories event tomorrow evening.
The group formed in the wake of a conference earlier this year. Members representing attractions and special interest groups from across the city have been meeting regularly since then to try to come up with a strategy for Sheffield’s heritage.

Hide AdThe aim is to work as a city to promote and support heritage in all its forms, from large projects like the restoration of the ruins of Sheffield Castle to smaller groups and attractions.
The conference will take place at Sheffield Hallam University’s Cantor Building in Arundel Street, lecture theatre Cantor 9130, from 5pm to 8.30pm tomorrow.
The event is free but people must register their interest beforehand at www.eventbrite.co.uk.
The event is supported by Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, and is part of Black History Month and Sheffield’s Year of Making.
