A romantic weekend that goes amusingly awry provides the comedic spark for Don’t Dress For Dinner - the next play in the Dilys Guite Players’ 2017 season at the Lantern Theatre in Nether Edge.

The farce, written in 1987 by Marc Camoletti, author of the play Boeing-Boeing, follows the exploits of Bernard, who plans a getaway with his Parisian-model mistress, Suzanne, while his wife is away, mistakenly believing his idea to be foolproof.

The production is directed by Phil Eardley, who has previously acted in numerous productions at the Lantern.

Don’t Dress For Dinner runs from June 26 to July 1, show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets priced from £7 to £10.
