Two gardens in Dore will welcome visitors this weekend under the National Gardens Scheme.

Roger and Sue Thompson’s large garden, woodlands and meadow at Owl End in Newfield Lane will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. Admission £3.50.

Mike and Norma Jackson’s “mature, wildlife friendly” garden, also in the NGS Yellow Book, is open at the same times at 9 Newfield Crescent. Admission £2.50.
