A pupil at Sheffield’s Westfield School pupil who won a supermarket competition to design a shopping bag was due to receive his prize today.
Charlie Bell designed a new version of Sainsbury’s ‘Bag for Life’.
His winning design features Sainsbury’s and the Sothall school with the words ‘Our community works together’.
Clive Betts, Sheffield South East MP, was due to present the prize, which includes £150 worth of Active Kids sports and cooking equipment for his school.
He will also get a framed copy of his bag and a £20 gift card to spend in store.
Charlie was then due to hand out 2,000 free copies of his bag at the supermarket’s store at Crystal Peaks shopping centre, Waterthorpe, from 11am today.
