Sheffield schools healthy food project wins national recognition

A scheme to encourage Sheffield pupils to eat more fruit and veg has won caterers Taylor Shaw a national award.

Rivelin, Charnock Hall, Sacred Heart RC, Malin Bridge and Birley primary schools were all involved in the Healthy Houses project.

Children were rewarded with house points and tokens for making healthy choices at lunchtimes.
