Sheffield students urged to donate to charity shops’ big campaign

Charity shops run by the British Heart Foundation have teamed up with Sheffield’s universities and the city council in a scheme to encourage students to donate unwanted items.

To make the campaign a success, the BHF is to provide donation bins, pop-up boxes and clothing banks at key drop-off points located across the city.

Students and staff are being urged to raid their wardrobes and household goods and donate any items they no longer need.

BHF shops are always in need of clothing, shoes, accessories, CDs, DVDs, books, kitchenware and small electricals, such as hairdryers and hair-straighteners.

Many students will be having a clear-out soon as the end of term approaches.
