Sheffield Hallam University staff have been showcasing the establishment ahead of the Tour de France.
The university is one of the sponsors of the Grand Départ and had a stand in the event’s main press centre which was set up in Leeds this week.
Ally Mogg, university public relations manager, said: “Because of the sponsorship, the students can be involved with official events. It gives them great experience and makes them stand out. It’s partly about raising the profile of the university, but it’s also to provide hundreds of voluntary and practical roles for our students to be involved in.”
Projects Hallam students have been involved in around the Grand Départ have included films, plays and supporting Tour staff in the press centre.
