Sheffield students threw themselves out of a plane – all in the name of charity.

A team of nearly 30 students from Sheffield University’s biomedical science and psychology societies took to the skies for a tandem skydive – raising nearly £6,000 for Sheffield Hospitals Charity and Neurocare. Alice Murphy, one of the students who took part, said: “I would do it again tomorrow. It was incredible.”

Students from both societies worked with the Students’ Union fundraising department to put on the event.
