Deputy Prime Minister and Hallam MP Nick Clegg popped into Bradway Primary to thank children for taking part in his Christmas card competition and to present them with certificates.

Pupils at the Bradway Drive school were invited to submit their designs for a Christmas card to be printed and delivered to nearly 38,000 households across the Sheffield Hallam constituency.

Grace Savage, aged seven, won the competition and there were six runners up and 38 shortlisted designs.

Mr Clegg said: “It was an extremely difficult to pick a winner as there were so many fantastic designs, but I was particularly impressed by Grace’s Rudolph the red nosed reindeer design.

“It brought a smile to my face as soon as I saw it.”
