Sheffield beekeepers have kept up a 100% record in passing a basic assessment.
Nine took the test this year, and maintained the standard set by 17 last year. All are now judged capable of keeping honeybees.
Amateur beekeeping is becoming increasingly popular and important.
The Sheffield association was set up four years ago, and the basic assessment is for beekeepers who have kept bees for at least one year. Then they are encouraged to learn more.
A spokesperson said the 100% pass rate “shows the beginners course ... is preparing people well”.
