FRIENDS Kieron Armstrong and Andy Medlam took on a Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride to raise £5,000 for seriously ill Barnsley youngster Ebonie Webb.

Kieron, 38, and Andy, 37, both from Barnsley, embarked on the 1,000-mile challenge after hearing of the plight of Ebonie, four, who has a brain tumour and needs pioneering Proton Therapy, a form of radiotherapy available only in the USA.

Ebonie’s parents Mick and Leanne are trying to raise the £110,000 that will take their daughter across the Atlantic for the chance of life-saving treatment.
