HAVE you seen Dookie?

He was tied up outside Waterstones bookshop in Orchard Square while his owners were shopping.

But when they returned the six-year-old white boxer had gone - and is believed to have been stolen.

His owner Joanne Bannister explained: “Dookie went missing on Sunday December 9 from Sheffield city centre, but he lives in Crofton, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

“He was with my mum who was shopping with her boyfriend.

“Our beloved, treasured and dear family pet was tied up outside Waterstones for no more than 10 minutes.

“We believe he was stolen by someone who untied his lead from the railing sometime between 1:30pm to 1:40pm.

“He was tied up with a another of our family’s dogs, a Spaniel which wasn’t stolen.

“Dookie was last seen by a witness near the Peace Gardens. He was on his lead which was being held by a young man and woman.”

Dookie’s family are offering a reward for his safe return.
