CURIOUS about being a carer?
People interested in finding out more about fostering are invited to attend an information event in Sheffield.
Team Fostering will be holding the evening about the care and support it offers, such as training, educational support, and a 24-hour ‘out of hours’ service.
Director Rosy Holden, said: “Often, potential carers are put off because they think they won’t fit the bill, but as long as you have a mature outlook, are aged over 21, have a spare room and can provide a child or young person with a safe, nurturing environment, you may be just what we’re looking for.”
The information evening is on Tuesday, September 18 from 6pm to 8pm at Unit A, Arena Links, Broughton Lane, Sheffield.
