Free sports and fitness sessions are to be delivered on a Sheffield estate.
Energise Shiregreen, run by Sanctuary Housing in partnership with Sheffield International Venues, Activity Sheffield and Arches School Sports Partnership, will offer sessions for people of all ages following the success of the first phase of sports and fitness programme, which saw hundreds of people involved.
Gym, swim, Zumba, badminton and taekwondo sessions are planned in the second phase.
To sign up to the programme Shiregreen residents should visit Concord Sports Centre from 10am-2pm tomorrow.
Activities will be free for the first 12 weeks.
Graham Nolan, from Sanctuary, said: “Not only do we hope it will promote improved health and wellbeing, we hope it will encourage residents to engage with others in the local community and develop skills which will be useful.”
