A set of charity cards designed by one of Sheffield’s best-loved artists have been flying off the shelves since their release six weeks ago.
Pete McKee, patron of Artfelt at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, penned two cards featuring a pair of his favourite pooches – Frank and Tony - with money going to the charity’s arts programme.
Last year Pete’s cards raised an incredible £7,000 to help Artfelt’s work brightening hospital wards and engaging patients in creative workshops. And this year, the cards are proving even more popular, with more than ever sold.
The cards are available from The Sheffield Children’s Hospital charity office, A Month of Sundays gallery, Sharrowvale Road, Sheffield, www.petemckee.com or www.artfelt.org.uk.
