Hundreds of motorcyclists led by former world superbike champion James Toseland brought Easter eggs to Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

For the 13th year, a cavalcade of motorbikes travelled from the South Yorkshire Police operations centre at Catcliffe, through the city centre to the hospital on Sunday. Eggs were delivered to every youngster on the wards – and there were plenty for brothers and sisters.

The event is organised by the Three Shires Honda Owners’ Club.

James said: “There were so many of us that we had to ride pretty slowly so the police could close enough roads ahead of us.”
