WOMEN and girls joining the Race for Life in Sheffield next month will use a new course.
Instead of taking a 5k route around Don Valley Stadium in aid of Cancer Research UK, participants will start and finish at Arundel Gate in the city centre.
In addition, there will only be one event instead of the two that were staged at Don Valley.
The event has grown in popularity over 15 years and organisers are hoping 10,000 women will be in the city centre on Sunday, July 3 to walk, jog or run to raise money to help beat cancer.
The race starts at 9.30am.
