FUNDRAISERS are organising a family fun day in Sheffield to raise vital funds for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.
The event, which is taking place at King Edward VII Lower School on Darwin Lane, Crosspool, has been arranged by community sports organisation Active8.
There will be fairground rides, inflatable slides, a bar, a parrot show, an animal farm, bouncy castles, a penalty shoot-out, Caribbean food and a car boot sale.
Event organiser Nathan Reid, who works for Interserve Support Services, a branch of Active8, said: “The fun day began when I wanted to do something to celebrate my boss’s life after he lost his battle with cancer in September 2007.”
The event runs from 10am to 3pm.
