Julie Taylor raised £1,790 for Macmillan Cancer Support with a skydive in memory of her father.
She jumped from 15,000ft at Hibaldstow in Lincolnshire to help the charity that looked after Bret Taylor from when he was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in 2011 until he died last year at the age of 88.
Julie, 53, said the care and support he got was ‘amazing’.
She added: “I know Dad would be very proud of my achievement.
“He knew I always wanted to do a skydive, and I chose to do it while wearing a locket with his ashes in.”
Julie set an initial target of £1,000, which she thought ambitious, but raised much more thanks to the generosity of work colleagues at the National Blood Service.
