A former Sheffield Wednesday player with multiple sclerosis and epilepsy is settling into life on a regenerated city estate.

David Lycett, a former Owls centre forward, is enjoying living in a new adaptable home at the Brearley Forge development in Parson Cross, built by Sheffield Housing Company.

The footballer was diagnosed with MS and epilepsy 10 years ago, after being on Wednesday’s books for five years.
