One thousand to attend NHS march

Have your say

Up to 1,000 people will march through Sheffield on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25, in a mass protest against cuts and changes in the health service.

The Sheffield Save Our NHS campaign group is co-ordinating the event, part of a larger national procession led by mums’ organisation 999 Call the NHS. They are following the footsteps of the Jarrow Crusade by marching 300 miles across the country.
