Mums have hailed a Sheffield exercise class as one of the best in the region – naming it as one of their favourites.
Kate Campbell’s 321 exercise class has scooped one of the top awards in the Classes For You competition, run by Netmums. Britain’s biggest online parenting site.
The UK-wide competition was launched as a chance for people running adult classes to be recognized for their work serving and improving the local community.
Mum-of-two Kate, who has been teaching exercise classes for seven years, is delighted with the honour for her classes which run at Ecclesall Church Hall on Wednesdays and Trinity United Reformed Church in Hunters Bar on Saturdays.
Kate, aged 38, from Fulwood, said: “I’m so pleased my class has been voted Netmums favourite class.
“My 321 programme gives you a full body workout in just 30 minutes.
“It’s popular with mums as it fits well into their lifestyle and is easy to replicate at home to reach goals faster.”
The 321 exercise programme is one of many classes run by Kate, a midwife of 16 years, as part of her Keep Mums Fit business.
Kate, mum to Hannah, 12, and nine-year-old Lucy, was inspired to set up Keep Mums Fit by her own struggle to find a suitable fitness class after Lucy’s birth.
She said she grasped the opportunity to study and qualify to teach fitness classes herself and now runs a range of fitness classes, from her 321 class to legs, bums and tums, and Zumba.
Kate’s 321 class is now honoured with a gold listing on the Netmums site, used by more than a million people each week, along with a ‘Netmums Favourite’ certificate to display in the class and a place on the Netmums award -winners page.
Commenting on Kate’s 321 class, Netmums user Louise said: “It’s great for a busy mum. The classes are fast, furious and fun.
“Kate is a brilliant instructor and always keeps you motivated.”
