Homeless charity is set to expand

WORK is beginning on the £300,000 first phase of an expansion for homeless charity Emmaus Sheffield, which is based at an old cutlery factory, Sipelia Works, near the canal basin.

The total cost of creating more accommodation, training facilities and workspace for homeless people is estimated at £1.7m. The charity says it is “vastly oversubscribed” at the moment.
