USERS of the world’s largest travel website have voted Losehill House Hotel and Spa in the Peak District as one of the UK’s top three hotels for relaxation and pampering.
The 21-bedroom boutique hotel, which is between Castleton and Edale, is ranked third in a list of 25 venues in a category of the 2012 Travellers’ Choice awards.
Owner Paul Roden, who acquired the hotel with wife Kathryn in October 2007, said: “It is a fantastic achievement for us.”
The hotel has already won awards for its accommodation and restaurant.
Celebrity guests include TV explorer Ben Fogle, musician David Gray, Prof Stephen Hawking and Radio Two DJ Stuart Maconie.
