CARING Cathryn Parrish is tackling a 10k race to thank Sheffield’s Weston Park Hospital for giving her dad an extra 25 years of life.
The mum-of-three from Royston, Barnsley, is set to tackle Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity’s annual Run in the Park, in Graves Park in Sheffield on July 1.
Cathryn, aged 31, is dedicating the run to her dad, Peter Walsh, who died in 2010 at the age of 77. His life was lengthened by having treatment for throat cancer at Weston Park.
