Spring has well and truly sprung in Sheffield – with flowers blooming and newborn lambs frolicking.
Bulbs have sprung into life in gardens and parks in the past few days, bringing some much-needed cheer after a long winter, while Heeley City Farm has welcomed new arrivals.
And the flip-flops can come out at last as forecasters predict a balmy weekend of fine weather.
MeteoGroup said today temperatures of up to 15C could be reached once a misty start to the day burns away. A forecaster said today was set to be ‘very mild for March’.
Both tomorrow and Saturday will be bright and sunny, with winds a little stronger over the weekend.
Temperatures will be around 12C tomorrow and Saturday before going back up to 15C on Sunday.
