DOZENS of dogs attended a special barking mad Diamond Jubilee lunch for four-legged fans of the Queen.

The pets enjoyed treats and party games at the event at the More For Paws Doggy Day Care Centre, in Dodworth, Barnsley.

But the Queen’s corgis failed to make an appearance, despite an invite to any owners who needed somewhere to keep their dogs while they attended their own celebrations.

More than 30 dogs joined in the lunch of bone-shaped biscuits and dog-friendly ice-cream before taking part in traditional games, such as musical dog beds, hide and seek, bobbing for apples and the egg and spoon race.
