TALENTED youngsters have brought a tale as old as time back to life in Sheffield.

Stephen Hill Methodist Church youth club’s production of Beauty and the Beast has been performing to packed audiences in Crosspool since the debut show on Wednesday. The all-singing, all-dancing production starring Emily Oldfield as Belle and Lizzie Bensa as the Beast comes to an end today with two performances.

This year’s show, the 44th in the history of the youth club, has been penned by brother and sister Lucy and Paul Nelson. Lucy starred in the pantos as a child and has returned to Sheffield from St Alban’s to oversee the show.
