A BOOK about missing Ben Needham - written by his mother, Kerry - will be published in May.

Called Ben, it will tell how the Sheffield toddler disappeared 21 years ago on the Greek island of Kos.

Kerry, aged 40, who lives in Ecclesfield, has always believed that he is still alive and that he was possibly abducted and given to a childless family.

Now she hopes the book will help raise the profile of the case and help find her son.

She said: “You are reliving it and that was really difficult to do, but I think it will be worth it and it will raise the publicity about Ben.”
