Business rethink after factory fire

Owners of an onion pickling factory in Sheffield are trying to relocate operations after the building was damaged by fire.

More than 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at Sheffield Foods, off Carlisle Street, Pitsmoor, which had been evacuated.

Owner Ashfaq Ahmed said: “My priority right now is trying to keep my customers happy and orders going out so I’m busy trying to move my operations.”

The cause of the fire, last Saturday, is thought to be accidental.
