Sheffield Cathedral will be open for Easter services - but the extent of its £4.3m redevelopment will not be on show until early next month.
Work is nearing completion on the Gateway Project, which will give the Anglican church a new entrance and forecourt and a refurbished interior. The hoardings on the forecourt are being taken down.
But only limited public access will be allowed while the contractors finish the work and test some of the changes. It includes opening parts specifically for Easter Services.
