Free computer course on offer

A FREE three week taster course is being offered to help people learn basic computer skills.

The introductory course, run by Barnsley Council’s Adult Learning Service, will teach people how to use a mouse and keyboard, create Microsoft Word Documents, format text, insert images save and print documents.

The course is available on Tuesdays at Emmanuel Church on Huddersfield Road, Barnsley, on October 9, 16 and 23 from 9.30am until 11.30am.

It is also available on Wednesdays at the Wombwell Centre on Barnsley Road, Wombwell, on October 10, 17 and 24 from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
