Kinder Trespass is celebrated

A celebration of the 1932 Mass Trespass of Kinder Scout will be held at Sheffield Town Hall on Saturday, April 26 at 2.30pm.

Organising group chairman Terry Howard said: “Sheffield’s vital role in the Mass Trespass and the fight to gain access to our mountains and moorlands is often overlooked.” The current Sheffield Moors Partnership will be highlighted, and a speaker is Kate Ashbrook, president of Ramblers. Admission is free.
