Man pleads not guilty to murder

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of lingerie boss Anthony Power, who was attacked in High Hazels Park, Darnall, Sheffield.

Imran Khan, aged 30, of Handsworth Road, Darnall, denies murdering Mr Power, the 78-year-old founder of Panache Lingerie.

He was attacked on Monday, October 8, last year and died three weeks later in hospital.

Khan, dressed in a red and grey sweatshirt, pleaded not guilty and the case was adjourned by Sheffield’s top judge Alan Goldsack QC.

His trial will be at Sheffield Crown Court in March.
