News In Brief: Arsonists causing motorists misery.

ARSONISTS set a scooter alight on Angleton Avenue, Manor, Sheffield, at around 8pm on Tuesday.

A car fire spread to a hedge in Church View, Killamarsh, at 8pm on Wednesday night, while a burning Ford Transit van was put out by firefighters on Markland Lane, Clowne, just before 6.15pm on Tuesday.

New path is laid

A TEMPORARY speed restriction will be in place on Park Spring Road, Grimethorpe, Barnsley, next month while a footpath is laid. The speed limit will be restricted to 40mph from January 7 for around 12 weeks.

Saloon cars crash

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a two car crash on the B56050 at Cutthorpe involving saloon vehicles. Police and paramedics were also called.

M-way lorry fire

A BURNING lorry on the M1 caused traffic tailbacks between junctions 36 and 37 at 6pm on Thursday.
