Nude swims lined up in Sheffield

A SERIES of naturist swims will take place in Sheffield in the new year following a successful first event.

Chapeltown Baths will play host to members of British Naturism on January 27, February 24 and March 30, after 60 people turned out to the venue for the nude swim and sauna last month.

People came from Lancashire and other parts of the UK to attend.

Andrew Calow, co-organiser of the event, said: “For some considerable time British Naturism has been looking for a suitable venue for a naturist swim in the Sheffield area.

“Following an experimental hiring of the Chapeltown Baths, we think we have found a new home for naturism in South Yorkshire.

“We were blessed with friendly staff who did their utmost to make us welcome.”
