Two men are due to appear in court today charged with the murder of a Sri Lankan takeaway driver who was attacked and killed in Sheffield on his last shift.

Shamraze Khan, aged 26, of Southey Crescent, Longley, and Kasim Ahmed, 17, of Main Road, Darnall, both Sheffield, are accused of murdering Thavisha Lakindu Peiris.

The body of 25-year-old Thavisha, a former Sheffield Hallam University IT student, was found in his car on Southey Crescent, Sheffield, at 10.30pm on Sunday, October 27.
