Put the kettle on for charity

SOUTH Yorkshire residents are being asked to brew up to raise awareness of dementia.

The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust wants people to get together with family, friends and colleagues to have fun and support Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa campaign.

Coffee mornings should be held between March 1 and 8 and events are being organised across the country.

All money raised will be spent on Admiral Nurses - who work with families and carers of all ages and backgrounds to support them as they look after someone with dementia.

It is estimated a million people will be diagnosed with dementia in the next 10 years and more will have to care for them.
