Trade unionists’ annual meeting

TRADE union members from around Sheffield are invited to the 156th annual delegate meeting of Sheffield Trades Union Council.

The event will be at the Trades and Labour Club, Talbot Street, from 7pm on Tuesday.

Members will hear a speech by Christine Beastall, organising secretary of the TUC’s Yorkshire and the Humber regional council. Manuel Cortes, general secretary of the Transport Salaried Staff Association, will also address the debate.

There will also be an election of Sheffield Trades Union Council officers.
