VIDEO: Sheffield dogs need new home

Waiting for Video...

Cute crossbreed Tara arrived at the RSPCA in Sheffield a nervous pooch – but in time she’s built up her trust in people and come out of her shell.

Now the friendly four-year-old is looking for a forever home and a loving family to call her own.

RSPCA Sheffield branch animal care manager Tony Benham said: “Tara is a fabulous lady but still finds situations where she meets new people, especially men, scary, and so she will need patient owners who are willing to take things slowly and build her confidence in a positive manner.

“She has some doggy manners still left to learn, but plenty of enthusiasm for training.

“Once she knows you Tara is an enthusiastic and fun loving girl with lots of love and loyalty to give.”

Former racing greyhound Freddie, who is currently living at Sheffield Retired Greyhounds Trust, is also looking for a forever family.

At four years old Freddie is a big bouncy boy but is described by staff at the trust as ‘very affectionate and cuddly’.
